What’s the most important meal of the day? Of course we all it’s breakfast. But some people seem to have missed the memo!
I was working with a 13 year old hockey player who plays on a high level. When I asked her what she had for breakfast she said, she didn’t have anything!
Then later that day working with a male in his late 30’s he also said the same thing.

All the sugar in the cereal must have rotted away his teeth!
This drives me crazy. How do you go with out eating anything in the morning? That same morning I had a salmon fillet with veggies and rice.
Now some people will be puzzled by my breakfast. The truth is we’ve been so marketed to that people don’t know what a good breakfast is now. Anything that you eat for lunch of dinner you can eat for breakfast.
But even if you don’t eat a steak for breakfast the point is to eat quality protein and carbs and fats first thing in the morning.
Also its not just about quality, this is a time you also want a little more quantity. Under most circumstances your breakfast should be larger than your dinner.
And less just say no to boxed cereals! The majority of boxed cereals aren’t worth the cardboard they’re put in.
