Another day, another snow fall! Now I know what it’s like living in a snow globe. I seriously don’t understand the people that enjoy this weather.

You don’t have to shovel sunshine, LOL.  All this snow has me craving warmer weather or at least some sustained amounts of sunshine. It’s no wonder people get depressed during this time of year.

And this got me thinking about Vitamin D and sunshine. As I’m frequently finding out what we are told isn’t always the truth. For example, is it possible drug company’s have tricked us into using more sun screen than we should?

(I think it would be a first if they were actually looking out for our health!)

Feeling good…Keep that way by NOT having a flu shot?

It’s been a busy  week, but I’ve found small pockets of time to fit in a work out.

Today I did: legs, back, and biceps.

Started with squats 185×10, 205×10, the first two sets felt unusually light! So on the third set went up to225 for 8 reps. All of course ATG.

Followed this up with step ups 30lbs DB for 10 reps each leg.

Due to time constraints I skipped leg curls, and went into deadlift from the floor.  worked up to 275 for 8 reps.

Then it was on to bodyweight pull ups. 2 sets of 10. The first set felt easy, however struggled on the second.

Finally I finished off with some bicep curls. Quick and efficient.

This weekend I’ll do a weigh in.  I’m hoping to be around 188ish.

On another note, one of my clients is sick, and now his wife who is also a client has started feeling sick. This got me thinking about the flu shot that was are so encouraged to get. The one time I remember receiving the shot within a couple days after I was sick! Since that time I have boycotted the “flu vaccine”. Now I rarely ever get sick maybe once every year and a half to two years. And considering how much I abuse my body it surprises me.
